Lyons Architects have always been at the cutting edge of IT implementation in architecture and constructional management. 

The Practice is currently using ArchiCAD 7.0 computer aided design and project management software. This offers seamless integration with other construction professionals and allows Lyons to open, share and operate all industry standard file types. The software's enviable work flow abilities means that much less time is expended drawing, detailing or scheduling projects compared with other CAD software.

Lyons operate on the Apple Macintosh platform fully networked throughout our office. We are currently  utilizing Apple's innovative and powerful new G4 workstations that enable us to rapidly construct complicated 3D virtual models for both development and visualization. 

Lyons also use the full capabilities of Microsoft's Project and Excel software to provide tightly controlled job reporting and monitoring facilities. Lyons has also been connected to BT's ADSL high speed internet access facilities since 2000, enabling us to rapidly share files, information and services will all members of design and client teams

All of our design staff are fully computer conversant and able to harness all of the many advantages that IT gives us.
